Monster Commander (Work-In-Progress)

Monster Commander screen shotMonster Commander will be a tactical RPG with an emphasis on smart decision-making over grinding and luck. Your army will consist of monsters recruited from the ranks of your enemies. Each monster will have very different abilities, and forming the right team will be crucial to achieving victory.

The game is currently a work-in-progress, but a pre-alpha demo is available. It is entirely controlled by the mouse.

Indie Brawl (Work-In-Progress)

Indie Brawl screen shotIndie Brawl is a fighting game that pits the stars of indie games against each other. Choose your favorite character and let the brawl begin!

This is a TIGSource community project, and many people have worked on it. It is still a work-in-progress, but the multiplayer mode is fairly complete, with 6 completed characters.

If you have problems running the game, go to the settings.ini file, and change ‘quality=1’ to ‘quality=0’. That should solve most issues.

Small Games

Small GamesI created several games for game jams, contests and classes. So many, in fact, that I gave them their own page. Due to the time constraints under which they were created, they are not quite as polished as my other games. That doesn’t mean they aren’t fun, though.

HI Brian, I met you on the flight to San Jose two weeks ago and was trying to access your games with my son. The site looks great.

We were trying to access Grand Theft Costume, but did not know what application to use to open it?? My son is only 10 years old so please let me know if there are any games that he should NOT access. Thanks and good luck with more games. I cannot wait to check some out! Mark

Thanks for the comment! Everything on my trip went well. I hope yours did, too!

Most of my games are in zip files, so you’ll need to right-click them and then click “extract all”. Inside the extracted folder, just double-click on the application (GrandTheftCostume). Most of the games will only run on Windows.

Band Maker Party Dungeon can generate some crude band names, so I would skip that one. Sergeant Killington and Blood for the Blood God are a bit dark, so I’d use discretion there. Everything else should be suitable for all ages.
